In our series “Berlin Guide“ we share our favorite snack bars, restaurants or cafés with you. We reveal where to get the best vegan donuts in town, which Vietnamese tapas restaurant you should visit and where you’ll catch us eating vegan pizza. Here are all our Berlin recommendations.
We have a few vegan pizzerias in Berlin: Zeus in Friedrichshain, Sfizy Veg in Neukölln. Now Prenzlauer Berg got its own spot for some yummy vegan pizzas: the Rocca. Wohoooo! The small restaurant near Mauerpark is a bit too small to relaxe for hours but smells like pizza heaven from far, far away. We loved the place, the vegan tuna pizza and left with satsfied tummies. You can find all the important foodie-facts here.
To our first Z&J-Foodie-Trip we invited Lisa, Nadine (Omnis) and Marie (cheesy Cheese hello!). There is only one table at Roccas so we immediately entered that one.
Which dish do I have to try?
We didnt’t tried one of the pasta dishes. Shame on us. But everything screaaaams for pizza when you enter the Rocca, so we could not help it. Au. Isas favorite is the vegan tuna pizza, Julia liked the Pizza Mista. Marie, Nadine and Lisa are also satisfied with the omni and vegetarian ones.
The most interesting person in the room?
The sweet waitress was by far the most lovely person in the room. She managed all of our special wishes quike and served everything on point. We are definitely in love with her.
There are only a few seats in the room. When you enter the room with five people it’s immediately full there.
If this restaurant would be an animal ..
.. it would be a dachshund. Tiny but lovely.
