7 vegan & soy-free desserts
Sometimes preparing a coffee party with family and friends becomes more complicated than baking a Frankfurt Kranz: one is vegan, the second doesn’t like chocolate, the third wants to have something with chocolate, and the fourth is allergic to soy. Uffs! We made a list for you with vegan and soy-free recipes, you can use when things are getting a little more complicated. Whether it’s a birthday cake, summery bars, or layered desserts - you don’t have to miss anything!
Products to use
When preparing vegan and soy-free desserts, you can use oat or almond milk as a plant-based milk substitute (please don’t use soy milk). As a vegan and soy-free butter, you can use “Alsan-Bio Margarine“, organic “Streichfett“ from Naturli or “veganer Block“ from Landkrone. When using yoghurts, buy yogurts based on almonds, coconut, or oats. Since we mostly use a banana, flaxseeds, or apple sauce as a egg replacement, you don't have to worry about this. The basic ingredients as flour, sugar, baking powder or vanilla sugar are vegan and soy-free anyway. Nevertheless, we would like to point out that ingredient lists sometimes change faster than you can eat. For safety reasons, always check the ingredient lists before buying the products.
