We love rankings – how about you? Once the end of a year draws closer, we always like to take a look back and present the most popular recipes of the year. So if you're interested to find out which salad (!) came in first place in 2018, click through all our annual rankings here.

We're probably already too late for a Zucker&Jagdwurst Wrapped. Nevertheless, we don't want to miss the opportunity to take a look at the Zucker&Jagdwurst files shortly before New Year's Eve to find out what the most popular recipes of the year were.

This is always bit of a surprise for us, as recipes that we didn't necessarily have on our list often end up at the top. In 2019, for example, it was our summer pasta salad, in 2022 a soup, and in 2020 our nut roast put in a brilliant end-of-year sprint and overtook all the other recipes of the year in just one month.

It's also interesting to see that some recipes are more memorable to us than others. For example, because we put a lot of time into recipe development and did a few rounds in the test kitchen. For example, there was this brilliant Mozartkugel cake or our vegan version of kinder bueno. Or when Katja ate her very first cheese crust rolls or when we grilled stick bread on our office terrace in the middle of summer. Julia made homemade vegan puff pastry with butter for vegan pudding pretzels for the first time and Anni served us vegan salmon, which impressed us all mightily. And what do all these recipes have in common? NONE OF THEM MADE IT INTO THE TOP 10 OF THE YEAR! PAH! But well, of course we don't have any favorites, right?
