We love rankings – how about you? Once the end of a year draws closer, we always like to take a look back and present the most popular recipes of the year. So if you're interested to find out which salad (!) came in first place in 2018, click through all our annual rankings here.

The last week of the year is upon us, and that means it's time for our Zucker&Jagdwurst year in review. It's been a wild twelve months for us – you can tell just by the fact that we're writing these lines in an almost empty room. We're already sitting (on the floor) in our new office, we've got WiFi, but no installed kitchen yet. So if you hear sounds of tape being pulled, tables being moved, or a plate shattering from the new dish cabinet in the coming weeks – that's us.

What else happened this year: After a long search, we found a manufacturer in Brandenburg who worked with us to put our recipe for vegan gravy into production, so it's now available in jars. Honestly, despite all the packages we've been sending out to you lately, we still can't quite believe it.

And how is it even possible that our second cookbook "Deutsche Küche Vegan" only came out at the beginning of the year and we celebrated its release with you at a pop-up – huh? That already feels like ages ago. Just in time for Advent, we also released our digital cookbook "24 Vegan Christmas Menus."

The fact that we managed to publish over 75 new recipes on the blog alongside all these projects sounds like a rumor, but it's true! Before we reveal which recipes you clicked on, cooked, and shared most this year, we want to say once again: Thank you! Thanks for cooking along, baking along, commenting, sending messages, sharing pictures, and for filling our year with so much support.
